A well-published and award-winning industrial conversion, the lofts at the A7 Holesovicky Pivovar (formerly the brewery fermenting house), are an exciting community of sixteen two and three level live-work units. Designed and realized as minimalist, ‘found’ industrial spaces, the intention was to create ‘container’ type units where the owners could invent their own creative context and lifestyle. Brick structural vaults were left exposed, while steel mezzanines were added to accommodate the sleeping spaces above the voluminous living galleries. Eight of the sixteen units have as well spiral stairs from the entry patios to the roof-top terraces.
